What is Dicte Send?
A service for sharing confidential documents with links you control, building data rooms and seeing who read what, page by page, with AI that runs on our own servers in France.
Which file types are supported?
PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and their open-format equivalents, audio and video recordings, and external links.
Do my recipients need an account?
No. They open the link in a browser, pass the gates you set and read, on any device.
Which languages are available?
The application, the reader and the emails exist in all 24 official EU languages. This site is in French and English first.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The reader works on phones and tablets, with a simplified mode when the device cannot render 3D.
Can I use it with my team?
Yes. Workspaces with owner, administrator and member roles, invitations by email, and shared folders.
Sovereignty
Where is my data hosted?
On dedicated servers in France, operated by a French company, outside the scope of the US CLOUD Act.
Hosting in Europe is enough, isn't it?
Location is not jurisdiction. A US provider must answer US requests wherever its servers sit. Dicte Send is operated by a French company on dedicated servers in France.
Who operates the service?
The French company that publishes Dicte Send. No foreign entity operates any part of it.
Is the AI processed by a third party?
No. AI models run on Dicte Send's own dedicated servers; no model or service is subcontracted.
Do you use subprocessors?
No third-party AI service and no external analytics processor. A data-processing agreement describing this is available on request.
How do you handle GDPR?
It applies in full and we act on it: you are the controller, we are the processor; data-subject rights, erasure, hashed addresses, consent records and an audit log are in place.
Security
How do I control who opens a link?
Require an email and a name, send a one-time code, add a passcode, allow or block emails and domains, set an expiry, and disable the link in one click.
How does the NDA work?
The recipient reads your NDA, text or PDF, and signs it with a typed legal name before the first page. Signature, time and a hashed address are kept with the visit.
What does the watermark contain?
Your text plus dynamic details such as the recipient's email and the date, on every page on screen and in any download you allow.
Is two-factor authentication available?
Yes, by authenticator app or text message, with recovery codes. Administrators can require it for everyone.
Is there an audit log?
Yes. Administrative, security and AI actions are recorded with identifiers, never content, and can be exported.
What do recipients see about tracking?
One line at the gate says the sender receives their reading activity, with a link to the privacy policy.
AI
What does the AI do?
It searches your documents by meaning, produces analyses when a document is ready, and answers questions, yours and, when you allow it, your recipients', with page citations.
Where does it run?
On Dicte Send's own dedicated servers in France. Nothing is sent to a third-party AI service.
Can I switch it off?
Yes: per link, per room, per member, and for the whole instance.
Is the assistant on for my recipients by default?
No. You turn it on per link or per room; recipients are told you can see their questions.
What is logged?
Who used the AI, on what and when, and your approvals of the assistant's proposals. Never the content of your documents in the audit trail.
Can the assistant act without me?
It acts as you, within your role, and any action that changes or removes something waits for your explicit approval.
Pricing
How much does it cost?
Prices are announced when early access opens. The model is public now: per workspace, in euros, no per-visit cap, everything that protects a document included.
What is early access?
Founding customers use Dicte Send before public launch, with a locked price, priority onboarding and a say in the roadmap.
Can I self-host?
Yes. Dicte Send can run on servers you operate; this site describes the version we operate. Talk to us for the other.
How will I be billed?
In euros, per workspace and seat, with VAT handled according to your country.
The launch
How does the waitlist work?
Leave your work email, confirm it within 48 hours, and we invite you when early access opens for your profession. You receive a confirmation and a welcome email, then your invitation.
When does early access open?
We do not announce dates. Cohorts open by profession, one at a time, so onboarding stays personal.
Who do I talk to?
A person. Every cohort gets a named contact, and the contact page tells you how to reach us before then.
Can I be removed from the list?
Yes. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to erase your details.
